Hall of Flowers Leaves Santa Rosa: The 2026 Trade Show Map for Brands

CRC Manufacturing · June 1, 2026 · 3 min read

The California trade show calendar reshuffled in 2026. Hall of Flowers ended an eight-year run in Santa Rosa and moved its fall California show to Sacramento, while CHAMPS split its year between Las Vegas and Austin and the Network Show held its ground in Los Angeles. Each room sells to a different buyer, and the sample kit you bring should not be the same.

Hall of Flowers: Sacramento, then New York

Hall of Flowers relocated its fall California show from Santa Rosa to Sacramento for November 4–5, 2026, ending an eight-year run in Sonoma County. Co-founder Rama Mayo framed the move as creating a "more connected, accessible and dynamic experience" — which in practical terms means a more central location for buyers traveling from the Central Valley and Southern California.

The brand also runs a New York City show on October 21–22, 2026. For a California brand, that show is less about immediate purchase orders and more about licensing conversations and East Coast distribution relationships, since product cannot cross state lines.

CHAMPS: the accessory and headshop channel

CHAMPS Trade Shows has run B2B counterculture expos since 1999 and reported 86,700 attendees across six shows last year. The 2026 dates that matter most were Las Vegas on August 26–28 and Austin on October 13–15.

The CHAMPS buyer skews toward smoke shops, accessory retailers, and distribution — a different audience from a licensed dispensary purchasing agent. It is the right room for hardware sourcing, packaging vendors, and volume conversations, and the wrong room to expect a dispensary buyer to write a first order for a flower SKU.

The Network Show: licensed only, in Los Angeles

The Network Show ran September 23–24, 2026 in San Pedro, Los Angeles, and restricts attendance to licensed retailers and brands. That gate is the point: everyone in the room can legally transact, which makes conversations shorter and more concrete.

It is also the most efficient show for brand-to-brand business — collaborations, white-label arrangements, and manufacturing partnerships — because the attendee list is operators rather than consumers.

Matching the show to the goal

Pick one objective per show and build the booth around it. Trying to serve retail buyers, accessory buyers, and potential partners from the same table usually produces a lot of business cards and no purchase orders.

  • Retail buyers and shelf placement: Hall of Flowers Sacramento
  • Accessory, headshop, and hardware channel: CHAMPS Las Vegas or Austin
  • Licensed brand-to-brand and co-packing partnerships: The Network Show
  • East Coast licensing and IP conversations: Hall of Flowers New York

Preparing samples the compliant way

Samples move on the same rules as sales. Anything containing cannabis needs to be in METRC, packaged and labeled to DCC standards, and transported by a licensed distributor to a licensed venue. Plan the manifest before the booth graphics.

For rooms where cannabis samples are not permitted, bring finished empties: the actual jar, tube, or vape with real artwork and no product. Buyers evaluate the package as much as the flower, and an empty travels without a manifest.

  • Confirm in writing whether the venue permits cannabis samples before packing
  • Route any live samples through licensed distribution with a manifest
  • Bring labeled empties and a spec sheet with unit costs and lead times
  • Have a minimum order quantity and a reorder turnaround you can commit to on the spot
